Description

Fine art illustration of a Tadjik Markhor (Capra falconeri heptneri.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.

Artist’s notes:

The Tadjik Markhor was completed on 12.22.2014. Each week I learn more about the vast number animals that are out there that because of their rarity or remoteness I had never heard of. Such is the case with this impressive ungulate. Finding a great reference photo by the talented photographer Marlo Pineda (who took the photo at the Los Angeles zoo) I created the drawing based on with his permission.
