Three-Wattled bellbird – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Three-Wattled Bellbird:
The Three-Wattled Bellbird is found in Central and South American rainforests. It is one of four species of bellbird. The name comes from the distinctive worm-like wattles that hang down from the base of the bill. When calling, the bellbird makes a “bell” sound, followed by a final “bonk” which completes this bird’s highly unusual song.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%
Fine art illustration of a Three-Wattled bellbird (Procnias tricarunculatus.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.
Artist’s notes:
The Three-Wattled Bellbird was commissioned by Stackpole books to be used in ‘101 Ways to Help Birds’ by Laura Erickson. I was lucky enough to catch sight of one of these fascinating birds while on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
