The Rhinoceros Iguana is a species of ground dwelling lizard native to the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. They grow to be about 24-54 inches (60-136 cm) They are found in a variety of tones and colors, from slate gray to brown. The Prairie Racerunner - a sub-species of the the six-lined racerunner lizard - is found in the short grassy habitats of the Midwestern part of the United States, from Colorado to Nebraska, south to northern Texas. The prairie racerunner is generally dark green or dark brown in color, with seven yellow stripes which run the length of the body from the head to the tail, and has a white underside.
