Artist’s notes:
The American Oystercatcher was completed on 3.4.2015. I love to draw birds with young ones nearby. When putting together a collage of birds of the Mid-Atlantic Coast. I found a great reference photo by the talented wildlife photographer Brett Klaproth (who was kind enough to allow me to use it to create this drawing of this stunning black and white bird.)
