Description

Fine art illustration of an Imperial Moth (Eacles imperialis.) The illustration is available in black and white or color.

Artist’s notes:

The Imperial Moth was completed on 9.1.2013. I have, to some degree, fallen down a moth rabbit hole. It started a few weeks ago when I completed a drawing of a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth. Then I decided that I had to create a collage of moths, but only had 5 species. I then did some research and found the lovely Imperial, Io and Polymorphous moths – all of which I decided to draw because of their coloration and beauty.
