Artist’s notes:
The Madagascar or Red Fody was completed in the summer of 2015. I was learning a lot about the animals of Madagascar, and when I was created a collage of the animals I added this wonderful songbird. It seemed to be typical of the birds there – and I love the red/orange coloration of the bird. The drawing is based on a photo by tickspics and was used with permission.
