The Eastern Imperial Eagle is a bird of prey can be found in open country near small woods from Southeastern Europe to Western and Central Asia, including parts of Arabia and North Africa. It is a very large bird with a length of 28–35 inches (72–90 cm), weighing about 5.4–10.0 pounds (2.45–4.55 kilograms). It's wingspan is an impressive 5.9–7.1 feet (1.8–2.16 m.) The Boreal Owl is a small owl native to much of the central and northern forests of North America, Asia and Europe. It is also known as the Tengmalm's Owl after Swedish naturalist Peter Gustaf Tengmalm. Other names for the owl include Richardson's Owl, Funeral Owl, Sparrow Owl, and Pearl Owl. This species is a part of the larger grouping of owls known as typical owls, Strigidae, which contains most other species of owl. As the name implies, a large proportion of the Buffy Fish Owl's diet consists of fish, as well as crustaceans, reptiles, frogs, toads and insects. Rats, mice and large beetles are also taken.
